Sebastian Bach is a Canadian-American rock singer and actor. He was born in the Bahamas in 1968 and grew up in Ontario, Canada.
He started performing as a teenager and eventually moved into the world of hard rock and heavy metal.
Then, in the late 1980s, he joined a young New Jersey band called Skid Row.
That changed everything.

Bach joined Skid Row in 1987, replacing the band’s original singer.
At the time, Skid Row was still trying to make a name for itself. The band was led by bassist Rachel Bolan and guitarist Dave “The Snake” Sabo, and they were working toward their first record deal.
Bach turned out to be exactly what they needed.
His powerful voice and larger-than-life personality helped give Skid Row its identity.
In 1989, the band released its self-titled debut album.
It became a huge hit.
Songs like “18 and Life,” “I Remember You,” and “Youth Gone Wild” turned Skid Row into one of the biggest bands in rock.

Why Did Sebastian Bach Leave Skid Row?
Bach left Skid Row in 1996.
The split came after years of tension between Bach and the other members of the band.
The relationship between Bach and his former bandmates has remained complicated over the years, and a reunion of the classic lineup has never happened.
Bach has continued to perform Skid Row songs during his solo career, though.
And fans still ask the same question:

What Did Sebastian Bach Do After Skid Row?
Bach didn’t disappear after leaving the band.
Far from it.
He launched a solo career and released several albums, including Angel Down in 2007 and Kicking & Screaming in 2011.
He also became an actor.
Bach appeared on television shows including Gilmore Girls and Trailer Park Boys. He also performed on Broadway in productions such as Jekyll & Hyde.
So while most people know him as the voice of Skid Row, he’s done quite a bit outside the band.

Yes!
Bach continues to tour and perform as a solo artist.
His shows often include Skid Row classics alongside songs from his solo career.
And he still has that voice.
After all these years, Sebastian Bach remains one of the most recognizable voices of the glam metal era.
