Skid Row’s History of Lead Singers
Skid Row has featured several lead singers throughout its career, spanning more than four decades. Sebastian Bach served as the band’s frontman during its most commercially successful period. His tenure produced the multi platinum albums Skid Row and Slave to the Grind, followed by Subhuman Race in 1995.
After Bach’s departure and a brief hiatus, Skid Row reunited in 1999 with Johnny Solinger as lead singer. Solinger remained with the band until 2015. He was followed by Tony Harnell and later ZP Theart of DragonForce.
In 2022, Erik Gronwall of H.E.A.T. joined Skid Row and recorded vocals for The Gang’s All Here. Gronwall left the band in 2024 due to ongoing health challenges that limited his ability to tour. Halestorm vocalist Lzzy Hale joined Skid Row as a guest singer, as well.
